The Story: This original painting holds a special significance within my collection, inspired by the familiar and well-loved views of the Westbury White Horse near where my father lives. Perched high on the edge of Bratton Downs, the ancient chalk figure sits as a silent guardian over a sprawling patchwork of the Wiltshire valley below.
The work captures the sheer sense of height and freedom one feels when standing on the ridge. On a good day, you can see so far in the distance, and I focussed on that feeling of being close to home, and yet feeling a sense of vastness.
Display & Investment: The ~20cm wooden board offers a view of the Westbury White Horse and across the Wiltshire valley. The picture comes unframed, allowing you to choose a frame to suit your style and home decor.
All original paintings come with a certificate of authenticity, initialled on the front, and signed on the back. The following details are also included on the back of the painting: title, date, medium.
